The penultimate day!
The children have a Professional Development day at school so they are home. We strung wire across the driveway, anchoring it in the trees on either side. The wire is high enough up so that no one gets clothes-lined and my neighbor can still park her car underneath. We started by trying the wire way up high, out of the second story windows but could not figure out how to then attach the ghosts and bats.
Once the wire was secured, we strung up the ghosts across the back wire. The bats are on the front wire, tied on with wire then taped into place. Margaret has a place of honor in our tree, hanging low enough so that you can see her neck stump in all its glory.
The bushes in front of the two houses are covered in spider webs and spiders in assorted sizes.
Hopefully the weather will hold and no one will mess with the webs or Margaret.
