The coffee cans and pixie sticks containers have now all been gessoed black. The gesso does not stick perfectly, so the containers scratch easily. I don't think this will impact them too negatively so I am not worrying about it. Once I get the labels on, it will hardly be noticeable.
Just to be clear to the Trick or Treaters, I have bought card stock and will be making a sign for the display (in English and Japanese) so that everyone knows it is an apothecary. In Japanese. it will say 'witches' pharmacy'.
